His voice fluctuates with wisdom
Straight to the point of reality
Living and breathing in the air
of this botanical vista
Does some sort of justice
for the quality of mind, body, and soul.
Not a sorry bone in his body
His tongue translates his thoughts
spiritually and directly
Being of both a
Sanctuary and vulnerability
Together, we followed his words
Recorded his teachings
We became a small following
What he was perceiving as reality
Resonated
Not because of his words only
Only because of his presence.
Dr. D Seresh Baburaj spoke to us upon entering The Center Council for Research & Homeopathy before seeing Dr. Rajan. The moment we entered the room, the words quickly escalated out of small talk into reality. Spirituality. This, you could tell was his life. The way he so casually and openly spoke about the creator reminded me of the way my mom and I speak with each other. It is a gift. My favorite conversation that we had with Dr. D Seresh Baburaj was one that crosses my mind often and that is the gratitude towards living here in this life on this earth. He took it to even greater lengths in stating that we could be born into any medium and in any state of being. Therefore,
1: we are fortunate to be born as humans with cognitive values such as we do.
2: we are fortunate to be functioning and healthy.
3: we are fortunate to be born onto this beautiful earth surrounded by all of these other beautiful creations.
4: we are fortunate to feel love and have the capability to sense.
5: we are fortunate to know our creator and be able to give praise for this. Giving praise to our creator, in itself is a fortunate state of being.
At some point during the conversation, I excused myself to the shine of the sun. Looking for further photo opportunities. I took a long stare at the valley before me before making my way to the bottom steps of the lime green building. Just as I began to become curious about the rows of plants, a man walked over and began to tell me what everything was and its homeopathic uses. I am so thirsty for knowledge of this that I savored every word. This bright man turned out to be the man that we were in Emerald to see, Dr. S Rajan. Of course, I soon found this out as he took over Dr. D Suresh Baburaj's roll in entertaining us. Straight to the herbarium we scuttled. The IPC was where we first saw Mucuna on an herbarium sheet. This would be the second from the same source. After the herbarium sheets we walked up and down the rows of herbs upon the terraces.

During our exploration of the homeopathic herbs, we got to taste and smell all of them! During that sort time, I smelled the best smells and tasted the worst taste. Rosemary is most definitely one of my favorites! The perfect balance between earthy and sweet. Lemon grass is another favorite. Many of the herbs are herbs that we have in America that we do not even use to the full benefit. The center is where a wide variety of mother tinctures are manufactured from. There were workers dressed in vibrant colors, as usual. Beautiful melanin skin soaked in days under the sun and hands rolled in the dirt of the earth. How magnificent. How spirit related and how enthusing to be surrounded by all of this, even if for only a brief half day. How grateful I am to not only be human, but to experience these surroundings and these individuals in my short lifetime of twenty two years and to think that this is only the beginning. Thank you!
