The Photographer’s Written Rendition
All was set to go to Asheville, NC to photograph dear Autumn’s big retreat. I was so excited, as I knew in my heart of hearts that all was in such divine alignment to be traveling and co-creating together once again. The last time we even saw each other was years ago at a Work Your Wild Facilitator retreat, where I was the videographer with two other photographers.
Fast Forward to just days before departure…
I felt like a Dr. Suess narrative on the phone with American Airlines asking to change my flight from Asheville to Nashville - to my surprise, it was a difficult navigation to claim a new flight. With a massive hurricane basically taking out the entire city of Asheville, one would think it would be a simple reroute.
Nonetheless, my magick woman soul sister, founder of the Magick Woman Method and #quantumcowgirl backed me up and purchased a last minute ticket to Nashville to photograph the Magick Woman Embodiment Retreat.
Autumn’s faith in my craft and devotion to her life artistry gives me chills as I’m writing this. The honor was already there, though was received ten fold in the context of the circumstances.
Loud and clear, it was made apparent, that all who gathered in this prayer of magick women were meant to witness and be witnessed. That the medicine was bigger than hashing loopholes and set like a pin on a map somewhere in the watery seas of sheer re-membrance and re-collection of the most magickal and divine self. The innate self.
Together, we upheld the vision within and beyond the narratives of ghosts past and ghools of the future - we were present and so of that glorious presence we are forever changed… and this is just only the beginning!”
